Replace a worn camshaft in CAT engines with this PDI Stage 2 cam. Its shaped lobes control when the engine’s valves open and close, working through the valvetrain to let air into the cylinders and exhaust out.
The camshaft turns in step with the crankshaft so valve movement stays timed to piston movement. Its lobes and bearing journals are working surfaces that can wear during service. This replacement is intended for the named engine and cam configuration, with any cam-gear bolt dimensions included in the product details.
